The Sapporo Upopo Hozonkai (Preservation Society) is one among the 17 Preservation Societies designated as preserving Important Intangible Folk Cultural Properties in Japan. Unlike other regional organizations, members of our preservation society have relocated to an urban cityscape, where we continue to thrive.
